As the mornings dawn, they strap on their shimmering skates, their eyes gleaming with excitement, readying themselves for a day of graceful twirls and thrilling leaps on the glistening icy arenas. Leading this tribe is Captain Frosty Toes, a cool imaginary character with a bushy snow-white mustache, who wears an enchanted top hat that never falls off, even when he's spinning like a tornado. He is a veteran ice skater, a legend in the world of ice skating, who has performed quadruple axels even in his sleep. As wobbly as a jelly on land, Captain Frosty Toes becomes as graceful as a swan the moment he steps on ice. The kids of MA love him dearly, for he is not just a mentor but a jolly playmate who knows the best ice skating tricks and the funniest ice jokes. "Why don't mountains get cold in winter?" he'd ask with a twinkle in his eyes. Before any kid could answer, he'd burst into laughter saying "Because they wear snow caps!" Give your child the opportunity to learn a unique Olympic sport while building confidence, focus, coordination, discipline, and strategic thinking at ALLE Fencing Club in Fort Lauderdale. ALLE Fencing Club specializes in saber fencing and welcomes students from beginners discovering the sport for the first time to experienced young athletes preparing for regional and national competitions. Youth beginner classes introduce children ages 6–12 to the fundamentals of fencing, including saber handling, footwork, distance control, fencing etiquette, sportsmanship, coordination, focus, and basic rules. Junior programs are available for ages 12+ and help students progress toward competitive fencing. With experienced coaches and a supportive training environment, students develop both physical and mental skills while learning a sport that challenges them to think quickly, move confidently, and make strategic decisions. Advanced and Elite programs provide additional training for experienced fencers interested in tournaments and high-level competition.
