They are not your ordinary kids, oh no, they are the Super Sashaying Shufflers of Massachusetts, ready to dance their way into your heart! Our story brings us to Boston, where the cobblestone streets echo not just with the hustle and bustle of city life but with the rhythmic tap-tap-tap of little dancing shoes. Our high-spirited heroes are known for their magical dance moves which can make even the grumpiest Bostonian break into a smile! Leading this troupe is none other than Jolly Jigglefoot. Jolly is not your typical dance captain; she's got the biggest feet you've ever seen, but boy, can she groove! She twirls and swirls so fast that the wind whips up into a mini tornado, leaving a trail of giggles and guffaws in her wake. From the sandy beaches of Cape Cod to the lofty peaks of the Berkshires, the Super Sashaying Shufflers of Massachusetts and their fearless leader Jolly Jigglefoot, dance to their own beat. They twist and twirl, sashay and shuffle, making every day a celebration of life. So, if you ever find yourself in Massachusetts, keep an ear out for the sound of dancing feet. And remember, if you see a whirlwind of dust approaching, don't be alarmed. It's just Jolly Jigglefoot and the Super Sashaying Shufflers, dancing their way to your town, ready to sprinkle a dash of joy and a whole lot of laughter!

Margaret LaPierre opened her studio back in 1968 with a mission to bring the art and joy of dance to young children. She strove for every student to have a strong ballet foundation and this is still upheld by the school today. One of Margaret’s earliest students was Sue Burns (Marroni), who danced at the studio from the age of ten all the way through high school. After graduating, Sue continued her journey with LaPierre as a dance instructor and in 1999 she took over ownership and direction. Mrs. LaPierre’s legacy lives on under Sue’s leadership. LaPierre is one of the most respected, popular, and comprehensive dance studios in New England, offering a wide range of dance styles and opportunities for all ages.
