These kids, who double as secret agents in training, participate in Target sports activities like darts, archery, and even Frisbee! Meet our main hero, the legendary Freddie the Frisbee Flipping Ferret. Freddie is a cool imaginary character with a wit as sharp as a dart and a sense of humor that can make even a bullseye blush. Freddie, with his comically oversized glasses and a cape made from a tablecloth, guides these kids through their Target sports adventures. Freddie would say things like, "Aim for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. But if you hit someone, apologize immediately!" Or, "Remember, in Target sports, the real target is having a good time!" He had a knack for making every lesson a laughing matter. The Pittsfield Suns are a collegiate summer baseball team which provides an opportunity for the local community to support local athletes. The team competes in the Future Collegiate Baseball League of New England (FCBL), a league formed in 2011 to prepare college baseball players for playing professional baseball and give them the chance to be seen by Major League scouts. The Suns moved into Wahconah Park in 2012 and the roster is made up of New England athletes currently playing collegiate baseball, at the Division 1, 2 or 3 levels, with local community ties. With eight teams all from New England, the league is a great way for New Englanders to support their local athletes.
