Freddie, with his comically oversized glasses and a cape made from a tablecloth, guides these kids through their Target sports adventures. Freddie would say things like, "Aim for the moon, even if you miss, you'll land among the stars. But if you hit someone, apologize immediately!" Or, "Remember, in Target sports, the real target is having a good time!" He had a knack for making every lesson a laughing matter. These Massachusetts kids, under Freddie's hilarious guidance, not only become masters of Target sports but also learn valuable lessons in teamwork, strategy, and precision. One of the highlights of our property is the Alappat Atelier, an incredible art studio where the celebrated artist Sebastian Alappat works. From massive fossilized dinosaur pieces to an entire section dedicated to Alice in Wonderland, and a fantastic collection of comic book art, there's plenty to ignite their imagination. The studio is well-equipped with all the necessary art supplies, spacious tables, and abundant natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand that comfort is essential for both kids and parents. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. For added convenience, there are also two restrooms on the premises and a picturesque outdoor sitting area where you can soak up the serene surroundings.
The Pittsfield Suns are a collegiate summer baseball team which provides an opportunity for the local community to support local athletes. The team competes in the Future Collegiate Baseball League of New England (FCBL), a league formed in 2011 to prepare college baseball players for playing professional baseball and give them the chance to be seen by Major League scouts. The Suns moved into Wahconah Park in 2012 and the roster is made up of New England athletes currently playing collegiate baseball, at the Division 1, 2 or 3 levels, with local community ties. With eight teams all from New England, the league is a great way for New Englanders to support their local athletes.
