Their leader is a ten-year-old boy named Slugger Sam, a lean, mean, baseball-hitting machine. Sam, who has a secret superpower of turning any fruit into a baseball, is well-known for his ‘Apple Smack’ and ‘Watermelon Whack’. It's a sight that leaves the crowd laughing their hats off, as a burst of apple juice or a splash of watermelon flies through the air after his powerful swing! The Mini Red Sox play under the watchful eyes of Sox, a mischievous, magical squirrel. Sox, who wears a tiny Red Sox cap, has a knack for making the most boring practice drills hilariously entertaining. Just when you think you've seen it all, Sox might just replace a baseball with an acorn or perform a nutty cha-cha on the pitcher's mound! Baseball in Massachusetts is not just a game, it's a festival of fun and teamwork. Kids from all over the state travel to share this magical experience, to laugh, to learn, and most importantly, to cherish the joy of playing their favorite sport. We focus on teaching the fundamentals of baseball such as proper throwing techniques, the best ways to make contact with the ball and how to properly field the ball. We also emphasize the importance of sportsmanship and the understanding of the game’s strategy. We strive to foster an environment where every child can learn and grow not only in baseball skills but in life skills.
