The Mini Red Sox play under the watchful eyes of Sox, a mischievous, magical squirrel. Sox, who wears a tiny Red Sox cap, has a knack for making the most boring practice drills hilariously entertaining. Just when you think you've seen it all, Sox might just replace a baseball with an acorn or perform a nutty cha-cha on the pitcher's mound! Our coaches adhere to the specialized rules and regulations of Cal Ripken Babe Ruth Baseball, emphasizing the importance of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. At the Dracut Baseball Association, we strive to provide our athletes with the opportunity to not only learn the fundamentals of the game, but to also develop important life skills. We believe that our program can help instill character-building qualities such as leadership, teamwork, and perseverance. We strive to enable our players to develop a lifelong passion for the game of baseball.
