Our story brings us to Boston, where the cobblestone streets echo not just with the hustle and bustle of city life but with the rhythmic tap-tap-tap of little dancing shoes. Our high-spirited heroes are known for their magical dance moves which can make even the grumpiest Bostonian break into a smile!

Leading this troupe is none other than Jolly Jigglefoot. Jolly is not your typical dance captain; she's got the biggest feet you've ever seen, but boy, can she groove! She twirls and swirls so fast that the wind whips up into a mini tornado, leaving a trail of giggles and guffaws in her wake.

From the sandy beaches of Cape Cod to the lofty peaks of the Berkshires, the Super Sashaying Shufflers of Massachusetts and their fearless leader Jolly Jigglefoot, dance to their own beat. They twist and twirl, sashay and shuffle, making every day a celebration of life.

We strive to provide a nurturing, family-oriented setting with a ratio of 6 teachers for every 30 children. 

Our commitment to the environment is a key part of our educational philosophy. We promote reducing, reusing, and recycling materials and strive to be a green school. Our classrooms are equipped with individual cloth towels, spill towels, compost, and paper and other recycling containers. We are proud of our efforts to fill recycling bins instead of trash barrels.

Nativity Preparatory School of New Bedford opened its doors in the fall of 2000, responding to a request from a foundation to create a tuition-free school for boys from families who could not otherwise afford private school. Executive Director Barry Hynes, a former teacher at Nativity Mission School in New York, and founder of Nativity Preparatory School of Boston, recruited a principal with teaching experience and three mission-driven teachers. These teachers committed to six days (and many evenings) of hard work as classroom teachers, coaches, janitors, advisors, and office staff, in order to adapt the Nativity model to New Bedford. 

To this day, the school continues to thrive thanks to the hard work and dedication of these teachers. Their enthusiasm and commitment to the Nativity model remain a pillar of the school’s success. Nativity Preparatory School of New Bedford has been able to provide an incredible opportunity to 12 fifth and sixth grade boys since its opening.

DEBUT Creative Center & Theater-Studio is a dual-language (English–Russian) program where kids explore creativity, confidence, and self-expression. From theater and dance to fencing and stage performance, children can try new activities and discover their unique talents.

Erin McParland-McCann welcomes all ages of students to her studio, Erin's School of Dance at the Caryl Community Center in Dover. With over thirty years of experience, she is certified by Dance Educators of America and is dedicated to teaching and sharing her passion for dance with the Dover/Sherborn community. Her program is designed to be fun and non-competitive, allowing students to learn the art of dance at their own pace in a personalized environment. 

Many of Erin’s students have gone on to pursue their love of dance on Broadway or as a career, while others carry their newfound passion with them throughout their lives. Not only is Erin’s School of Dance a great place for children to learn, but it also serves as an opportunity for adults to reconnect with the joys of dance. All ages are welcome to join Erin’s School of Dance and discover the art of movement!
