Now, these weren't just any kids. They were the brave and bold Rope Course Rangers, renowned through the lands for their courage, agility, and giggly laughter. The Rope Course Rangers were always up for a challenge and the higher they climbed, the louder their laughter echoed across the state. Leading the fearless Rope Course Rangers was Captain Chuckles, a boy with twinkling eyes and a belly laugh that could shake an entire rope course. His hair was as red as a sunset and his freckles were like tiny signs of adventure on his face. Captain Chuckles, despite his funny name and constant laughter, was the epitome of bravery. He conquered rope courses like a knight takes over castles, with determination, fearlessness, and always with a joke up his sleeve. Every Saturday, the Rangers would meet at their favorite park, "The Sky-High Playground", where rope courses crisscrossed between towering trees. Here, they would swing from rope to rope, climb like squirrels, and laugh like hyenas. Each course was a new quest, a fresh adventure, and a chance for Captain Chuckles to lighten the mood with his renowned humor. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do.
