It's a sight that leaves the crowd laughing their hats off, as a burst of apple juice or a splash of watermelon flies through the air after his powerful swing! The Mini Red Sox play under the watchful eyes of Sox, a mischievous, magical squirrel. Sox, who wears a tiny Red Sox cap, has a knack for making the most boring practice drills hilariously entertaining. Just when you think you've seen it all, Sox might just replace a baseball with an acorn or perform a nutty cha-cha on the pitcher's mound! Baseball in Massachusetts is not just a game, it's a festival of fun and teamwork. Every June 14th, the Department and Flag Day Committee run the Flag Day Parade, a colorful celebration of patriotism. In the fall, Dedham Day takes place at Memorial Park with the help of the Friends of Dedham Recreation and the Friends of The Dedham Pool. Additionally, the Police Department and Parks and Recreation Department team up to provide an exciting Bike Rodeo at St Mary's parking lot.
