About Dedham Parks & Recreation

For families looking to get more involved in their community, the Parks and Recreation Department offers a range of activities. Every June 14th, the Department and Flag Day Committee run the Flag Day Parade, a colorful celebration of patriotism. In the fall, Dedham Day takes place at Memorial Park with the help of the Friends of Dedham Recreation and the Friends of The Dedham Pool. Additionally, the Police Department and Parks and Recreation Department team up to provide an exciting Bike Rodeo at St Mary's parking lot. There are lots of ways to get connected with your community: the Parks and Recreation Department has something for everyone. Whether you’re interested in the Flag Day Parade, Dedham Day, or the Bike Rodeo, you’ll be sure to find an activity that suits you. All of these events are designed to bring the community together and provide an enjoyable experience for all. So come join us and get involved!

All Day Playground 2022

Dedham Recreations All Day Program will run 8 weeks throughout the summer. Register for all 8 weeks or just 1! Program will be offering a multitude of activities weekly.

Swim & Gym Session 1 (ages 4 & 5)

The Program consists of several different activity periods. Each day the children will have 60 minutes of Arts & Crafts, 60 Minutes of Phys Ed and 60 minutes of Swimming Lessons. For description of swim levels click the information button above.

Karate

The Study of Kenpo Karate/T-Jitsu is both a martial arts form and way of life. Our Academy provides the environment and personalized training to allow our students to maximize their physical and mental power to reach personal goals , no matter what they are.
