VOC has come a long way since 1965. What began as a small Community and Regional Opportunity Program has grown into a large, multifaceted organization that offers over 30 programs to residents of Chicopee and Holyoke. The agency also invests in local communities by purchasing and renovating properties to provide both market-rate and low-income housing to those in need. VOC is committed to continuing to provide support and assistance to the Chicopee and Holyoke communities for years to come.

At Valley Opportunity Council, we are dedicated to providing and expanding services to those in need. We are committed to eradicating poverty in our community and beyond, through a combination of education, advocacy, partnership and collaboration. Our goal is to empower individuals and families to move out of poverty and become self-sufficient.
