But it wasn't always about winning. For Larry's crew, Field Hockey was a way to bring everyone together, fostering friendship, respect, and a whole lot of fun. It opened in September of 2016 and provides two NHL-sized rinks, a café upstairs that overlooks both rinks, a pro-shop, and two golf simulators. It’s a great place to get ice time, whether you want to play hockey, figure skate, or just go for a public skate. There are a number of local high school teams, an elite private club program, and a premier figure skating club that use the Ice House for practice and competition. The Ice House also provides a number of weekly leagues for youth, high school, women’s and men’s hockey teams, and holds large regional hockey and figure skating tournaments throughout the year.
