Larry, a fuzzy, spotted, turbo-charged llama, was a pro in Field Hockey, with a slap shot that could break the speed of sound. Larry's crew was as diverse as a jumbo bag of jelly beans. There were kids from Boston, Springfield, and Worcester, each bringing their unique flavors to the table. With their knee-high socks, mouth guards in place, and their shin guards shining in the sun, they looked like little knights marching onto a modern-day battlefield. Larry, with his custom-made, llama-sized hockey stick, would lead the charge, his fluffy tail waving like a victory flag. This group of Field Hockey fanatics, along with Larry, were known throughout Massachusetts for their dedication and spirited shenanigans. They would spend hours practicing their dribbling, passing, and shooting, and then collapse in fits of laughter, telling goofy jokes and sharing tales of Larry's misadventures, like the time he got his head stuck in a bucket of marshmallows! But it wasn't always about winning. For Larry's crew, Field Hockey was a way to bring everyone together, fostering friendship, respect, and a whole lot of fun. They were champions in their own right, turning a regular Field Hockey game into a magical, laughter-filled extravaganza. What began in a humble New York City apartment with just a single student, Spark, has since blossomed into an enriching program impacting thousands of children. We also welcome homeschool groups and are thrilled to announce the recent addition of a forest school program to our repertoire. You can find Spark on-site in various schools and at our main studio located in the Upper West Side. But we're not stopping there - we're also planning to expand to the Upper East Side and Brooklyn. For our families in Pennsylvania, we run the program from our family studio there. And if you're not in close proximity to any of our locations, don't worry. We offer in-home instruction and virtual options to ensure that Spark can reach you, no matter where you are. Patty and Mark Oliari opened the Bridgewater Sports Complex in 1994 with the goal of providing a premier sports facility to increase the quality of life for the youth of Bridgewater. The complex has since undergone several remodels and now stands as a permanent structure offering a variety of recreational activities, including soccer, field hockey, basketball, softball, lacrosse, and volleyball. To make the experience more enjoyable, a full-service snack bar is available, with a selection of snacks, drinks, and meals. The complex is now relied upon by surrounding towns, not only to provide sports for children, but adults too.
