When Marvin's not busy turning kids into aquatic athletes, he loves telling hilarious tales about his adventures through the Boston Harbor, or the time he outswam a speedy sailfish in the Charles River. On a warm, sunny day, you might catch a glimpse of him sliding down the Berkshire hills, using a giant clam as a sled, because for Marvin, the entire state of MA is his whimsical water park! So, dear kiddos of Massachusetts, when you plunge into the pool or the ocean for your next swim, remember, with every splash and every laugh, you're adding a dash of 'Marvin Magic' to the beautiful state of MA.

One of the highlights of our property is the Alappat Atelier, an incredible art studio where the celebrated artist Sebastian Alappat works. From massive fossilized dinosaur pieces to an entire section dedicated to Alice in Wonderland, and a fantastic collection of comic book art, there's plenty to ignite their imagination. The studio is well-equipped with all the necessary art supplies, spacious tables, and abundant natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand that comfort is essential for both kids and parents. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. For added convenience, there are also two restrooms on the premises and a picturesque outdoor sitting area where you can soak up the serene surroundings.

The four areas (Club/Camp, Community, Country, and World) serve as reminders of the many facets of our interaction with our surroundings. The camp’s staff and volunteers work hard to ensure a safe and positive atmosphere for all campers. At Camp Middlesex, campers are encouraged to learn and grow through positive reinforcement and the development of leadership skills. The camp provides a fun and safe environment for all campers to explore and develop leadership skills. Campers are encouraged to think independently and take responsibility for their own actions. Through the camp activities, campers learn to become more independent and develop a sense of community and responsibility. Through their experiences at camp, campers learn to be confident in their decisions and become self-reliant.
