In a place where lobsters and baseball are revered, where autumn leaves paint the landscape in magnificent hues, and where a certain tea party played a critical role in shaping history - there you'll find the magical state of Massachusetts. Nestled in the heart of New England, this state is not only home to some of the finest clam chowder and the world-renowned Boston Marathon, it's also a bustling hub of STEM/STEAM activity. Meet our friend, Gizmo the Geeky Grasshopper. Gizmo is no ordinary grasshopper, oh no! He sports a pair of funky glasses, carries a tiny beaker, and is often seen zooming across the state on his mini rocket-powered skateboard, visiting the numerous libraries, museums, and schools. Gizmo is all about STEM/STEAM. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics are his partners in crime, and together they make learning a grand adventure for all the kids in Massachusetts. Gizmo and the kids are always up to something fun and educational. Whether they're coding a new video game, building miniature robots, or painting mathematical masterpieces, they are continually exploring ways to merge creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. Much like the state they live in, these kids are a blend of history and modernity, tradition and innovation. Together, they laugh, learn, and make the occasional explosion (all in the name of science, of course). And at the end of the day, they've made Massachusetts not just the birthplace of American liberty, but also a rising star in the universe of STEM/STEAM. So, if you ever find yourself in the midst of this buzzing hive of creativity, don't be surprised if you encounter a bunch of inspired kids, led by a geeky grasshopper, excitedly discussing their next big project!

Building Character with Martial Arts. The Black Belt Leadership Academy has a rich history that spans more than ten years, during which it has been pivotal in aiding students to sharpen their concentration, bolster their power, and enhance their self-assurance through exceptional martial arts instruction. Our branch in Wauwatosa is a welcoming space that respects and includes students of every kind, regardless of whether they're novices or seasoned martial artists. Each class that we provide is meticulously planned to challenge students at a personal level, while also creating a positive and rewarding ambiance. This individualized approach guarantees that all our students feel recognized and motivated, which leads to a more successful learning journey. At our academy, we're committed to fostering an environment that brings out the best in each student. Our classes aim to not merely impart martial arts techniques but also to instill qualities such as discipline, respect, and resilience. We are firm believers that the values learned at our academy extend beyond the training hall and will benefit our students in all their future pursuits.
For 50 years, Bambi Nursery and Day School has been a trusted provider of quality early childhood education. Since 1967, our school has been owned and operated by Sylvia Molta and we are dedicated to providing engaging learning experiences tailored to the individual needs and interests of children aged 15 months through 8 years. Our teachers are highly trained and create programs that promote physical, social, and intellectual growth. We strive to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with educational materials and equipment that encourages exploration and experimentation. We are proud to be able to provide such a safe and supportive environment for our students to learn and grow.

At our center, we are passionate about teaching the children to love learning. We create a safe and loving environment for the children to explore and learn through activities such as science projects, art, dancing, and gardening. We also recognize the importance of developing social and emotional skills, and make sure that the children understand how to be good members of the community. We do this through fundraising events, interacting with local helpers, and sending cards to those in the community such as our police officers and veterans. Our goal for the children in our program is to prepare them for kindergarten, while increasing their self-confidence and fostering their social and emotional skills. Our teachers at the center are all Licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care, and are required to have Degrees in Early Childhood Education, as well as CPR and First Aid Certification. To ensure that they are always offering a quality program, our teachers receive at least 20 hours of training every year to increase their knowledge and skills. We are committed to instilling a love of learning in the children that we serve.
