The land is so flat that, on a clear day, you can see your dog run away for three whole days. It's a state where the corn grows tall, the bison run wild, and the sunsets paint the sky in shades of orange and pink that would make a rainbow blush. In this grand land, you find the coolest, bravest, and most adventurous bunch of kids in the whole wide world. These aren't your average, everyday kids, oh no! These are the Kansas Nature Explorers. Led by their fearless leader, Kip Kansan, a freckled, straw-hatted boy with a twinkle in his eye and a compass in his pocket, these kids are always ready for an adventure. Kip Kansan and his trusty crew spend their days exploring the vast prairies and the meandering rivers. They chase after tumbleweeds, make friends with prairie dogs, and even try to figure out which end of a worm is its head. They can tell you a hundred different facts about sunflowers – Kansas's state flower – while balancing on a haystack, and can track a coyote faster than you can say "Bob's your uncle." These kids are curious, courageous, and a little bit crazy. But in Kansas, crazy is just another word for awesome! And when it comes to having fun in the great outdoors, no one does it better than Kip Kansan and the Kansas Nature Explorers. They are the champions of chuckles, the sultans of silliness, and always ready to take on the wild with a smile and a hearty laugh!

For over 50 years, Frontier Camp has been dedicated to making disciples of Jesus by sharing God’s Word amidst the beauty of His creation. Since our founding in 1969, we’ve been licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and are proudly accredited by the American Camping Association. We’re also a member of the Christian Camping and Conference Association. Our mission is to use Christian camping and outdoor recreation as a means to support local churches in fulfilling the Great Commission—evangelizing people of all ages and discipling believers toward deeper maturity in Christ. Frontier Camp offers a dual ministry: during the summer, we host a 10-week youth camp, and throughout the rest of the year, we serve as a retreat facility for churches and like-minded religious organizations. Whether through summer camps or retreats, our goal remains the same: to expose people to Christ and encourage their spiritual growth through His Word and by reflecting His character in everything we do. While we provide top-notch recreation and exciting programming, the heart of our camp is the spiritual impact, rooted in the truth of God’s inerrant Word.

The camp seeks to help young people grow closer to God and understand the truth of His Word. Through its activities, the camp creates an atmosphere of discovery and exploration that allows children to explore their faith and build relationships with others. At Kansas Bible Camp, young people have the opportunity to explore the teachings and claims of the Lord Jesus Christ. Daily Scripture lessons and messages encourage campers to trust in Him and commit their lives to Him as Lord. In addition to chapel services, Scripture memory, and group devotions, the camp features a number of activities such as swimming, canoeing, trampolines, crafts, hiking, and nature classes. The camp creates an atmosphere of discovery and exploration that allows children to explore their faith and build relationships with others. Campers can also make lasting memories with friends and mentors in a safe and spiritually-enriching environment.
