Once upon a time, in the vibrant, sunflower-splashed state of Kansas, where corn waves in the wind like a golden sea and tornadoes are a mere game of tag between the wind and the earth, a group of young aquatic enthusiasts dive into the refreshing embrace of swimming pools. Now, these aren't your typical pool-splashing, Marco-Polo-ing, just-getting-my-toes-wet kind of kids. No, siree! These are the Kansas Swim Kids! Leading this spirited bunch is Freddie the Frogman. Freddie wasn’t always a Frogman; in fact, he used to be a regular Kansan kid. But one day, after a daring swan dive into a magical swimming hole, he turned into a frog-human hybrid. He sneezes out water fountains, his flipper-like feet can launch him like a jet ski, and his goggles have a built-in GPS for underwater routes! The Kansas Swim Kids, inspired by Freddie, swim like dolphins dancing in an ocean, with an infectious laughter echoing around the pools. They know the secret language of the water, turning somersaults in the deep end. Just like knights wield swords, these kids command pool noodles. They dive like daredevils, turning belly flops into belly laughs, making huge cannonball splashes that drench anyone within a 10-foot radius. In a state where summer heat can cook eggs on the sidewalks, these water-loving youngsters have found their cool paradise. The Kansas Swim Kids and their leader, Freddie the Frogman, are the ruling princes and princesses of the pools, creating ripples of joy in the heartland of America!

Our summer camps are open to children in grades 1 through 12, while our mid-winter retreat in January is meant for grades 7 to 12. We also offer retreats for adult men and women. At MLCC, we understand the importance of growing in knowledge of the Lord and becoming part of a Christian community. Our summer and winter camps are designed to help campers do just that. We are committed to creating a safe and enriching environment where campers can learn and grow in their faith. We also provide retreats for adults where men and women can build relationships with each other and God. Our retreats create an atmosphere of encouragement and open dialogue, allowing adults to gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and their faith in God.
