The Glencoe Park District has been providing a wide range of recreation opportunities to local residents since it was established in 1912. Its Board of five elected commissioners serve four-year terms without pay, overseeing the District's operations, improvements, and planning. They are responsible for establishing and changing Park District policy, approving the budget, negotiating agreements, and signing contracts.
