Little League Softball® has come a long way since its establishment in 1974. Today, it is one of the most popular youth sports, with over 360,000 athletes participating in more than 24,000 teams in over 20 countries. Initially, there were only two divisions: Little League® and Big League. However, they now offer programs for girls ages 4 through 18.
