With a top hat always perched jauntily between his majestic antlers and a conductor's baton forever clutched in his hoof, he resembles more of a dapper musical maestro than a woodland creature! Maestro Mike leads these younglings as they harmonize with the tweeting birds, improvise with the gurgling rivers, and syncopate with the rustling forest leaves. Under his guidance, each kid transforms into a singing sensation, their voices echoing across the rolling hills of Connecticut and beyond. Between the symphonies of laughter, you'll find the young Vocal Virtuosos. A true hidden gem in Norwalk, Crystal Theatre specializes in the use of original musicals written specifically for the organization, providing students with an extraordinary opportunity to perform. Crystal Theatre is committed to providing students with a safe space for learning and growth. Original founders Cheryl and Alexandrea Kemeny, David Jackins and Mariner Pezza saw a need for musical theatre opportunities for children in Norwalk outside of the annual high school musicals. As such, they created Crystal Theatre, an academy open to all students without special audition requirements.
