Once upon a time, in the teeny, tiny, totally terrific state of Connecticut, there was a group of kids who were mad about Robotics! They were called the "Circuit Surfers," and they were as different as M&Ms in a candy store. Some were whizzes in math, some were science sorcerers, and some were just bonkers about building stuff. Yet, they all had one thing in common. They loved robots more than ice cream on a hot summer day. Dotted with charming towns and lush green forests, Connecticut was the perfect backdrop for this robotic extravaganza. The Circuit Surfers didn't just build robots; they made them dance, do chores, and even tell jokes! The robots were like their metal and wire pets, except they didn't need to be walked three times a day or have a stinky litter box. The star of the show was undoubtedly Captain Codex, a flamboyant robot with a metallic top hat and a penchant for breaking into Broadway show tunes. The Circuit Surfers built him with so much care, he had a personality as bright as a thousand LEDs. Captain Codex would often be found in the center of all the action, bursting into song, "I am the very model of a modern Major-General, I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral." The kids would roar with laughter, their cheeks hurting from smiling too much. So, in this snug little corner of the world, the Circuit Surfers and Captain Codex continued their robotic adventures. Every day was filled with laughter, learning and the occasional loose bolt. And through it all, the children of Connecticut showed that when it comes to Robotics, they were the whiz kids to beat!

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats.
