Max wasn’t just any mongoose; he wore neon shades, sported a funky, multi-colored mohawk, and zoomed about on a hoverboard. He was as cool as a cucumber in a tub of hot salsa, and he had a laugh that could make a grizzly bear giggle. Max and the Dynamos had a legendary reputation for their zip-lining adventures. They dashed across the canopies, high above the ground, faster than a roadrunner on a sugar rush. What began in a humble New York City apartment with just a single student, Spark, has since blossomed into an enriching program impacting thousands of children. You can find Spark on-site in various schools and at our main studio located in the Upper West Side. But we're not stopping there - we're also planning to expand to the Upper East Side and Brooklyn. For our families in Pennsylvania, we run the program from our family studio there. And if you're not in close proximity to any of our locations, don't worry. We offer in-home instruction and virtual options to ensure that Spark can reach you, no matter where you are. Camp Sugar Pine in the Sierra Nevada National Forest of Central California is the perfect place for families to find a spiritual retreat. Located at an elevation of 4,200 feet, it's an easy hour drive north of Fresno on all paved roads. It's also a mere 7½ miles from the southern gate of Yosemite National Park and only a 3½ hour drive from the San Francisco Bay. Each year, nearly 10,000 campers from hundreds of different churches, public and private schools and colleges, non-profits and businesses come to Camp Sugar Pine for a memorable experience. The warm atmosphere of the camp and the ministry that takes place there have been life changing for many of the campers, and many have even found their way into the family of God. For the past 60 years, Camp Sugar Pine has seen God do great things, and the camp staff and campers pray that He will continue to do so in the years to come.
