In the balmy California mornings, as the sun peeks over the horizon, the Kaya-kids gather at the edge of serene lakes, rivers that twist and turn like a roller coaster, and the grinning mouth of the mighty Pacific Ocean. With one foot firmly planted on their colorful kayaks, the Kaya-kids would pull on their neon life-vests, slap on their sunblock, adjust their superhero-inspired goggles, and burst into a chorus of laughter before pushing off into the water. Whether they're breaking free from the foamy jaws of a wild wave, navigating the peaceful paths of a lazy river, or having an epic splash war in a calm lake, these Californian Kaya-kids are the heart and soul of this wild adventure called kayaking. Every morning starts with Kumzitz, our daily morning song and skit, and every evening ends with community-building friendship circles. Even our Shabbat celebrations are infused with ruach. Our staff is comprised of many former Camp Kee Tov campers, giving our camp a true family feel. We are committed to enriching the lives of our campers through role models, leadership training, and of course, lots of safe and fun activities! Our camp is open to all children of all religious and ethnic backgrounds, and we emphasize the values of mutual respect, tzedakah, and love of nature.
