Deep in the heart of the United States, nestled between two Great Lakes, lies the magical land of Wisconsin. This enchanting territory is known for its lush, rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and its abundant, cheddar-rich cheese farms. The kids of Wisconsin are a rare breed. They’re as sturdy as the towering pine trees that grace the state's northern forests and as vibrant as the rainbow of colors that paint the landscape during fall. A group of these extraordinary Wisconsinite kids have made a name for themselves in the world of art - specifically, printmaking. They call themselves "The Cheesehead Crafters," (the name was chosen after a heated debate involving lots of cheddar). Led by their imaginative, cheese-loving, printmaking genius of a mascot, Cheddar Chuck, they embark on extraordinary art adventures every day. Cheddar Chuck, a jolly figure made entirely of the finest Wisconsin cheddar, sports a wonderfully waxy, yellow complexion, a big cheese wheel for a body, and a hat made from the wax rind of the most exotic cheese in the world. He is as hilarious as he is cheesy and has a knack for telling the most rib-tickling, melted cheese-themed jokes that keep the kids rolling in the aisles of their art studio. Every day, under the watchful eye of Cheddar Chuck, these young artists dip their cheese-shaped carving tools into ink and press them onto sheets of paper, creating spectacular, cheese-themed prints and having a gouda-ole-time. They bask in the joy of artistic creation, their laughter echoing across the Wisconsin prairies, proving that Wisconsin is not just about dairy farming, but also home to the most creative and happiest young printmakers in the country!
