Once upon a time, in the enchanting green mountains of Vermont, a lively clan of kids swapped their snowboards for Taekwondo uniforms. The amazing Maple Syrup Avengers, as they liked to call themselves, were on a mission to master the Korean martial art. Vermont, the land known for maple syrup and dairy farming, was an unexpected home for a Taekwondo team. Yet, nestled between the vibrant forests and sparkling lakes, the Avengers practiced their high kicks and swift punches, their yells echoing off the mountainsides. The children of the Avengers were as diverse as the Vermont scenery. There was Kicky Kyle, who could kick as high as the tallest maple tree. Punchy Polly, known to jab faster than a hummingbird's wings. And let's not forget about Agile Alex, who could dodge an attack quicker than a squirrel darting across the fields. In the heart of these verdant hills, Taekwondo was more than just a sport. It was a secret language, a dance of courage shared between friends. The Avengers would leap and twirl, their laughter rippling across the valleys. They turned the martial art into a spectacle of joy, a celebration of childhood spirit. Their coach, a bear-sized man with a mustache wider than Lake Champlain, was known as Master Maple-Syrup. He was a Taekwondo legend, who, rumor has it, could break a stack of boards with a single chop faster than you can say "Moose Tracks Ice Cream!" He guided the Avengers with a heart as warm as Vermont's autumn colors, always reminding them that the real victory was in the fun they had. So, in the magical state of Vermont, the Maple Syrup Avengers transformed the art of Taekwondo into a symphony of laughter, kicks, and friendship, making it a sweet adventure, just like the state's famous maple syrup.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
