Through sizzling summers and bone-chilling winters, the Art & Crafts club keeps their creativity flowing like the Rio Grande. In Doodlebug Dan's workshop, beneath the shade of a giant cottonwood tree, you'll see the children huddled around tables, their faces glowing with concentration. They use everything from paints and pencils to the most unconventional of materials like prickly cactus needles and shiny armadillo shells, to create their pieces of art. An outsider might think it's all a chaotic, colorful mess, but to Doodlebug Dan and his posse, it's a symphony of imagination with every child playing their part. The studio is well-equipped with all the necessary art supplies, spacious tables, and abundant natural light, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We understand that comfort is essential for both kids and parents. That is why we've ensured that our facilities include a separate waiting area for parents, offering a space for you to relax while your child is busy exploring their creativity. For added convenience, there are also two restrooms on the premises and a picturesque outdoor sitting area where you can soak up the serene surroundings.

Within their cabin groups, our campers learn to depend on one another, to lend a helping hand, and to inspire each other. They engage in exciting tribal competitions, where they not only compete but also comprehend the significance of unity, spirit, and sportsmanship. Our camps provide an environment where young individuals can forge deep, meaningful relationships, that reflect the unconditional love of God, and last beyond the duration of the camp. At Deer Creek, we also focus on adventure activities that fill our campers with wonder and excitement. They have ample opportunities to explore nature and enjoy thrilling activities such as hiking, sky-high zip-lining, river rafting, and wall climbing. They can even take a 'leap of faith', kiss a fish at the top of a climbing wall, or go on a sunset canoeing trip. The campers gather around a bonfire under a starry sky, sharing stories and experiences, creating memories that they carry with them long after they leave our camp, their faith awakened and enriched by God's love.
