About Summit Aquatic and Fitness Center

The Riptides Racing Team was founded in 2008 to provide an opportunity for children aged 6-18 years to make a splash in the pool. Since then, Riptides has become the premier youth-based swim team in the Grand Strand area. With its commitment to providing the highest quality program, Riptides has quickly become a nationally recognized program. Riptides swimmers are a cut above the rest. Through rigorous and engaging practices, swimmers are encouraged to set their sights on learning and mastering new skills, while striving to achieve personal goals. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on personal growth, Riptides swimmers have achieved success in the pool.

Riptides Racing Team is the Grand Strand's most recognized swimming program. A two-time USA-Swimming Bronze medal winner for Club Excellence, the most collegiate swimmers from the Grand Strand, and swimmers qualifying to the highest levels including US Olympic Trials, Riptides is the program to assist your child in achieving their swimming goals.
