About Hanahan Recreation Department

Welcome to the City of Hanahan Recreation and Parks Department! Our goal is to provide quality leisure services to citizens of all ages, and we strive to make this happen. We are incredibly grateful for all of the contributions and sponsorships that have been made to our various recreation programs. Through your participation, we have been able to build stronger programs that benefit our youth and community. The Hanahan Recreation Department is thankful for all of the support that has been given thus far. Your generous donations have helped us create programs that benefit our citizens of all ages. We are proud of the progress that has been made, and we hope to continue working together to build a better and brighter future. Recreation and Parks
It is the mission of the Hanahan Recreation and Parks Department to provide a localized system of recreation and parks resources and services to enhance the quality of life of Hanahan residents. Our department strives to develop and maintain safe and attractive recreation and park areas and to address the leisure service needs of residents in the most cost-effective manner. We also strive to support our community's physical, m, mental, moral and economic health through traditional recreational programming and special events. We invite you to share your comments with us concerning our parks and programs.

Youth Tennis
Hanahan offers a beginner to intermediate Tennis program at the courts on Murray Drive, across from Hanahan Middle School. This program is offered 4x per year and is available to beginner, intermediate, and skilled players ages 6-14. The program fee is $120, which includes a racket for new players. The course classifications are broken down into 'Red Ball' (Beginner), 'Orange Ball' (Intermediate), and 'Green or Yellow Ball' (for adults or experienced players over 14)

Youth Softball
The Hanahan Recreation Department Softball program is offered to girls aged 6-15 years old.
