Somewhere down south, nestled within the arms of the Atlantic Ocean lies the magical state of South Carolina, popularly known as SC. This isn't your ordinary state, oh no! This is a land where palm trees sway like dancers, peaches taste like sweet sunshine, and the kids...well, they are the most extraordinary of all. You see, the kids of SC have a unique knack - they are wizards of the needle and thread! They gather in a place called "Seamland", a magical world hidden behind the weeping willow in the backyard, where thimbles twinkle like stars and buttons serve as tiny, colourful moons. Their guide in this world is a delightful, goofy character named Captain Patchy, a pirate with a button eye, a patchwork cloak, and a hat that resembles a pincushion. Captain Patchy sails the kids across oceans of fabric waves, teaching them to sew like master tailors. From making frog-shaped pincushions to sewing the rainbow into skirts, these kids create wonders with just a needle and thread. Their laughter echoes as they stitch, telling tales of their sewing adventures. But beware, for a sudden 'pop' could mean a thread has snapped! There’s never a dull moment in Seamland. A day might start with stitching together a butterfly's wings and end with a hilarious race to button up Captain Patchy's cloak before he sneezes, sending buttons flying like mini UFOs! So, if you ever visit SC, remember to search for Seamland. Listen for the sound of laughter, the hum of sewing machines, and look out for flying buttons. You might just spot Captain Patchy and his crew of sewing wizards, creating magic stitch by stitch.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.

Youth in the local communities are given the chance to explore their emotions, hone in on their personal skills and become their most genuine selves. This brings us a great sense of joy and hope for the future of theatre, and ultimately, the future of our world.
