Meet South Carolina, or as we like to call her, “Sunny SC.” She's a charming, warm-hearted state, fondly loved by the Atlantic Ocean, who gives her warm hugs every day. She's also got great manners, always draped in luscious green outfits and offering plenty of sunshine and sweet tea. Sunny SC is a storyteller, with histories written on her sandy shores and whispered among the leaves of her ancient, towering trees. Now, let’s talk about the explorer kids, the spirited little adventurers, who embark on field trips within the heart of Sunny SC. You’ve never seen a bunch as lively and curious as them! They make a parade of questions, always eager to learn, always ready to discover. Our favorite character is the ever-inquisitive Billy Blue Cap. With his bright blue cap always on his head, you can spot him from miles away! Billy’s pockets are full of treasures from his travels; seashells from Myrtle Beach, a fallen leaf from the Angel Oak tree, or a shiny pebble from the Blue Ridge Mountains. He's the one always leading the march, with a magnifying glass in one hand and a notepad in the other, ready to inspect, explore, and enjoy every bit of Sunny SC’s stories. You'll often see him chortling with laughter, especially when he finds out that the Palmetto State's dance is the Shag, or that their official snack is boiled peanuts! With kids like Billy and a state like Sunny SC, every Field trip is nothing short of a delightful adventure.
