About Black Label Martial Arts

Black Label Martial Arts was founded by Professor Malachy Friedman, a 2nd degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with decades of experience coaching martial arts champions. His mission is to bring the same level of passion and quality instruction that he is known for as a UFC coach to all his students, regardless of their level of experience. Professor Malachy’s mantra is simple: “Treat every student in every class like it is the most important lesson we will ever teach.” At Black Label Martial Arts, we offer a wide range of martial arts instruction for adults, kids, and competitive athletes. Our classes include Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (“BJJ”), Submission Grappling, Judo, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Kids Jiu-Jitsu, Women’s Fitness, and Self-Defense. Our family friendly facility provides a safe, welcoming environment for everyone. Our experienced, knowledgeable instructors will help you realize your potential and achieve your goals. Kids Classes
Young children who learn martial arts find out quickly that each movement must be intentional. They learn to control their movements to the best of their ability. Martial arts instruction requires students to pursue goals to earn new belts. Young kids can easily become frustrated when they don’t get what they want, but studying martial arts helps them learn the power of persistence. The physical activity in our classes also helps kids manage stress and anxiety by allowing them to burn it off in a safe and constructive way.
