In the little but mighty state of Rhode Island, the tiniest state in the entire universe, there lay a secret. A secret that was not so tiny after all. This secret was called Gaga Ball, a game that turned tiny Rhode Island children into heroes. The protagonists of our story were the kids of Rhode Island who adored Gaga Ball. These were not your average children. Oh no! They were brimming with an energy that was as infectious as giggles on a school night. They were as spry as squirrels and as nimble as foxes, darting around the Gaga Ball pit. And boy, were they fast! No snazzy sports car or superhero could match their speed. Not even Lightning McQueen or The Flash! These Rhode Island kids had a knack for the game. With their eyes as sharp as an eagle’s, they could see the ball coming from a mile away. Their hands, quick as a striking snake, could hit the ball in a blink. And there was one character who stood out among them all, a young chap called Zippy Zander. Zippy was not very big, but his spirit, oh it was as gigantic as the Hulk's muscles. He had a belly full of laughter, a head full of crazy strategies, and feet that seemed to have a mind of their own. He'd dance around the Gaga Ball pit like a ballet dancer, leaving his opponents in a dizzy whirl, wondering where the ball had disappeared. Zippy and his Gaga Ball gang were the heart of Rhode Island, the proudest champions of the smallest state in the universe. Their laughter echoed across the beaches, their cheers resounded in the streets, and their love for Gaga Ball turned the tiny state into the happiest place in the world.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups.
