Welcome to the quirky, cool, and totally fantastic state of Rhode Island, or as we affectionately call it: RI! It's not just a state, it's an entire world squeezed into a tiny package, much like a sardine can full of unicorns. RI is a place where kids aren't just kids; they are mini maestros, junior jazz artists, and pint-sized pop stars, all thanks to the magical power of music. In the heart of this tiny titan of a state, we find Musicville, an invisible city that only those with a rhythm in their hearts can see. Here, let me introduce you to our hero, Beethoven the Beatboxing Beaver. Now, don't let his buck teeth or flat tail fool you. Beethoven can drop a beat better than any DJ. He's an RI kid - and by that, we mean "Really Incredible." In Musicville, every day is a new song, literally! Kids wake up to the sound of alarm clocks playing jazz. They brush their teeth to the rhythm of reggae, and even their school buses hum in harmony. Beethoven and his buddies, including Mozart the Moosical Moose and Tchaikovsky the Techno Tiger, groove their way through each day. They're not just playing music; they're living it! From composing symphonies in sandboxes to conducting concertos on jungle gyms, these RI kids are making music an unforgettable adventure. And the best part? Their tunes are as infectious as a laughing fit in a library! So, if you ever find yourself in RI, just follow the sound of Beethoven the Beatboxing Beaver's beats, and you'll find yourself in the most melodious place on earth, where every kid is a maestro, and every day is a musical masterpiece!

The Music Complex RI Jam Sessions offer students the unique opportunity to experience the thrill of playing in a band in a supportive and encouraging environment. We assist students in preparing a song or songs to be performed and work with them to form bands. This is a great way for students to build confidence in their music abilities and to motivate themselves to keep improving. Playing as part of a team is a special way for students to learn how to work together as musicians, something they may not have the chance to do on their own. It also helps them to become more comfortable performing and gives them the energy and excitement of playing in a group. At the Jam Sessions, we provide a fun and safe place for students to play and perform music together. It’s a great way to gain the experience of being in a band while having the support necessary to succeed. Not to mention, it’s easy to be part of the Jam Sessions!
