In the teeny, tiny state of Rhode Island, where munchkin chickens cluck with a Yankee accent and the squiggly squids in Providence Bay eat clam chowder for breakfast, a gaggle of daring, audacious kids embark on an exhilarating adventure, plunging from the sky on parachutes with a whoosh! These aren't your ordinary run-of-the-mill, hopscotch-playing, ice-cream-licking kids. Oh no! These are the Rhode Island Sky Diving Squad - the RISDS for short. The smallest squad from the smallest state, but with the most monstrous courage! Leading the squad is Captain Pogo McFluff, a fearless, lollipop-chomping, teddy bear. He's an odd-looking teddy, with one purple ear, a lime-green eye patch, and always strapped in his rainbow-colored parachute. Now, you might think a teddy bear skydiving is odd, but in Rhode Island, it's as normal as a lobster whistling Dixie. Captain Pogo McFluff and his squad of pint-sized daredevils jump off clouds, somersault through rainbows, and even race with the seagulls (who are notoriously sore losers!). You wouldn't believe the giggles and whoops that echo across Rhode Island as the RISDS spiral down, their chutes blooming like giant, floating jellyfish in the sky. So, if by chance or by fate, you find yourself in Rhode Island and you see a purple-eared teddy zipping across the sky, you know you've just witnessed Captain Pogo McFluff and his marvelous RISDS in action. Wave a hearty hello and remember, never underestimate the kids from the smallest state, because when it comes to bravery, they're as big as it gets!
