In the vibrant state of Oregon, with its towering mountains, lush green forests, and rushing rivers, a group of energetic children has discovered a unique adventure. They're not chasing Bigfoot or searching for hidden waterfalls, no, they're practicing a cool activity called Krav Maga! Meet our pint-sized heroes; Tommy 'Thunder-Kick' Thompson, Sally 'Super-Spin' Sampson, and their fearless leader, Billy 'Bear-Hands' Baxter. These kids dress like your everyday Oregonians but when it's time for Krav Maga, they transform into their superhero personas. Billy, with his headband tied just right, looks like a samurai warrior straight out of a comic book. Sally, always in her lucky polka dot socks, twirls like a tornado causing the bad guys to run for cover. And Tommy, well, he earned his name 'Thunder-Kick' when he once kicked a soccer ball clear across the Willamette River. Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but when Tommy’s in his Krav Maga zone, his kicks are loud enough to wake the dormant Mount Hood! Together, these kids set out to their local Krav Maga class, tucked away in the heart of Portland. They tumble, they roll, they duck, they punch, all while laughing their hearts out. Their instructor, a Krav Maga master who moved from Israel, shares stories about the art’s history, making the kids feel like they're part of a secret superhero society! So, in the land of the Ducks and the Beavers, where the rain often plays hide-and-seek with the sun, these Krav Maga kids are not just learning to defend themselves. They’re building their confidence, strengthening their friendship, and most importantly, having a blast while doing it! So, if you ever find yourself in Oregon and hear the laughter mixed with the sound of 'Hi-Ya!', you know our little heroes are in action!
