Oregon, the Beaver State, is a magical wilderness playground where the mountains, rivers, and forests play the most enchanting symphony. Now, imagine this, instead of attending Mrs. Snore-a-lot's history class, you're one of the brave adventurers who venture into the sky. You're part of an elite group of kids known as the "Oregon Sky Poppers," and they're not your average, run-of-the-mill, homework-doing, broccoli-eating kids. The leader of the pack is a bonkers character named Fizzle Top, with hair as crazy as a squirrel on a sugar rush and goggles that look like they were borrowed from a space alien! Fizzle Top is as Oregonian as a rain-smitten beaver, and he guides the Sky Poppers from the tops of the Douglas firs to the belly of the clouds. The Sky Poppers don't jump out of planes with parachutes like ordinary skydivers. Oh, no, no, no! They leap off of Fizzle Top’s ginormous helium-inflated, rainbow colored marshmallows, giggling and chortling as they swan-dive into the Oregon skies. The big fluffy marshmallows go “pop” and there begins the most thrilling free-fall, as exhilarating as riding a rollercoaster down Mount Hood! The kids twirl, somersault and belly-flop, laughing their heads off, the wind whipping their cheeks rosy. They jet through fluffy, cotton-candy clouds, past the wing-tips of bemused eagles. And when it's time to float back to Mother Earth, they simply yank their backpack laces, and a giant whoopee cushion inflates, bringing them bouncing back to the ground. The Oregon Sky Poppers prove that in this funny ol' Beaver State, the sky's the limit when it comes to giggles and thrills!
