Music Lessons
Whether you're 9 months old, or a 99 year old adult, we have a music program for you! From The Music Class® for babies and toddlers to private lessons in piano, guitar, drums, voice, violin, and nearly every other popular instrument, our students are trained by highly qualified and professional music instructors. At West Chester Academy, kids of all ages can explore music in fun and supportive programs—whether through private instruction, group classes, or early childhood experiences. Private Lessons (Ages 5+) – Piano, voice, guitar, drums, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone & French horn. The Music Class® (Ages Birth–4) – Babies & toddlers enjoy singing, dancing, bubbles, parachutes & more with parents. Young Musicians (Ages 4–6) – Early music education through singing, play, creativity & movement. Group Piano – MYC (Ages 5+) – Music for Young Children combines piano basics with fun parent-child learning. Group Guitar (Ages 7+) – Learn tuning, notes, finger picking & more in a group setting. From preschool beginners to advanced teens—and even adults—West Chester Academy has a dance class for everyone! Our encouraging teachers nurture a love of dance while building skills like confidence, teamwork, and discipline. Classes follow a structured curriculum with age-appropriate costumes and choreography. Students perform at least twice a year, with additional community opportunities. Dance Classes (Ages 2–6) – Fun beginner classes for little ones who love to leap, twirl & move! Dance Classes (Ages 6–9) – Ballet, tap, jazz & hip hop, tailored by age group. Dance Classes (Ages 9+) – Wide variety: ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical & acro jazz. Ballet (Ages 9+) – Intensive ballet training for all skill levels, beginner through advanced. Competitive Teams (Advanced) – By invitation only, for experienced dancers. Together We Dance (Special Needs) – Free dance program for children with special needs. Adult Classes (Ages 17+) – Small, fun ballet classes—great for fitness & enjoyment.

Gymnastics classes are a great way to get in shape, improve coordination, and build your child's confidence. Tumble Bears (Ages 2–6) – Intro gymnastics for boys & girls with lots of fun movement. Beginning FUNdamentals (Ages 6+) – Learn the basics that build toward Level 1 gymnastics. Leveled Gymnastics (Ages 6+) – Develop strength, agility, flexibility & confidence at every level. Go Ninja (Ages 6+) – Action-packed mix of gymnastics, parkour, martial arts & obstacle skills. Tumbling (Ages 8+) – Perfect for cheerleading & other sports—focus on flips, rolls & balance. Our trained party staff makes every moment fun and stress-free. Parties run 60 or 90 minutes and are available: Saturdays: 3:00 PM or 5:30 PM Sundays: 12:30 PM, 3:00 PM, or 5:30 PM We provide invitations, tablecloths, party bags, and light cleanup—just bring the refreshments and the fun! West Chester Academy offers a wide range of programs in the arts. We provide dance classes in multiple styles, music lessons (private and group) for a variety of instruments and voice, gymnastics and aerial silks, as well as acting improv and musical theater classes. Our programs begin with parent-and-tot classes for babies and continue all the way through adults!

Right away! Enrollment is ongoing, and once you register, your child can begin at their scheduled class or lesson time. Some programs may have limited enrollment windows, but our customer care team will help you find the best fit.
03. What should my child wear to class?
Dance: Required attire purchased through our online store. Gymnastics: Leotard or tiger fitting play clothes. Aerial Silks: Fitted athletic wear (no zippers or jewelry). Music & Specialty Classes: Comfortable clothing.
