Welcome to the bustling state of New York, where skyscrapers and hot dog stands outnumber trees and where every day is an adventure. In this concrete jungle, there is a group of kids who are as nimble as ninja squirrels and as wise as ancient turtles. They are the Kung Fu Kids of New York! Every morning, as the city yawns and stretches, our Kung Fu Kids are already up, practicing their high kicks and lightning-fast punches. They train on rooftop gardens, in quiet corners of Central Park, and sometimes even in the subway stations, amidst the baffled looks of the early morning commuters. Meet their master, a seemingly ordinary New Yorker named Mike, but known to the kids as Master Miagi. Master Miagi, who is often mistaken for a hot dog vendor, is a Kung Fu legend in disguise. He has a thick Bronx accent, a round belly that jiggles when he laughs, and the unique ability to turn anything into a Kung Fu lesson. From pigeons pecking at breadcrumbs to the chaotic traffic of Times Square, Master Miagi always finds a way to teach the art of Kung Fu! The Kung Fu Kids of New York are all about balance. They balance school work with Kung Fu training, hot dogs with healthy smoothies, and most importantly, their lives as typical New York kids with their secret identities as martial arts masters. They are living proof that in New York, anything is possible - even becoming a Kung Fu Kid!
