SummerTech is the perfect summer camp for the tech-savvy kid. For 19 years, we’ve been providing an unparalleled experience for youths with a passion for technology. Our camps in Westchester, New York, and Weston, Massachusetts, offer courses in programming, web development, animation, 3D modeling, and film making. Campers can explore their interests in a safe and supportive environment, make connections with new friends, and develop leadership skills.

Java Programming Camp for Kids

As one of the most popular programming languages, Java powers software around the world. Learning how to program with Java enables you to build a wide range of web systems and apps. Both desktop and mobile applications use Java, making this language a must-have in the world of tech. Teens with Java experience get a competitive edge in education and the working world. Plus, they have fun using their knowledge to bring ideas to life! We recommend our Java courses for students over age 15 who have previous programming experience. Younger campers and campers with no programming experience can enroll in our Python course first.

Computer Animation Camp for Kids

We offer our animation classes to teens and kids who need a creative release. Every student starts by learning how to draw on a computer with a tablet and stylus. Then, they move all the way up to creating interactive movies based on their original ideas. Our teachers work closely with each student to help them learn the fundamentals of digital animation.

3D Modeling Camp for Kids and Teens

In our 3D modeling courses, campers learn the fundamentals of creating digital 3D models. Students develop models of real-life objects as well as their favorite fictional characters. With 3D modeling, campers can follow their artistic inspiration while learning how to use advanced software. Create art for video games, model your favorite Star Wars spaceships, introduce yourself to 3D animated movies, and more!
