The Dance Corner, located conveniently in the Southfield Shopping Center in West Windsor, is much more than a dance studio. With exceptional instruction, children of all ages can explore and appreciate movement and music through a variety of dance styles, while challenging themselves and growing in technique and confidence.
At The Dance Corner, preschoolers can take their first steps into the world of dance, while more experienced dancers can develop their skills and take their dancing to the next level. With a focus on more than just dance, The Dance Corner is a place where children can be inspired, grow, and develop their talent in a safe and fun environment.

Introduction to Dance – Mommy and Me
This class provides a lively introduction to rhythm, musicality and movement. Engaging and creative methods are used to encourage our young dancers to discover the joy of ballet, jazz, and creative movement. A parent or guardian is asked stay in the classroom either to participate or to encourage the student. Introduction to Dance students perform in the annual recital. Parents/guardians do not perform.
Storytime Ballet Ages 4-6
This class magically brings the classic tales to life with music, props, and costumes. The basics of ballet are taught to the young dancer while engaging the child’s imagination and naturally creative spirit. Parents may watch from the waiting room or leave and return for pick-up at the end of class. If your child needs help using the bathroom, we ask you to say in the waiting area case she/he needs to go during class time.
Lyrical 1
This level teaches a combination of skills and terminology used in beginner ballet and jazz classes. Grace and fluidity of movement are prioritized, in addition to proper body alignment, center of balance, and beginning turns, jumps, and floor work. (No prerequisite. Ages 6 and older may register. Typical age range is 6-8 years.)
