About Washington Rock Dance
At WRD, we believe that every student who enters our doors has the capability of becoming an amazing dancer and an incredible individual. We provide a safe and positive environment for all our students. We strive to create a unique atmosphere where our students can grow as dancers, performers, and individuals. Through our professional instruction and our commitment to our students, we help them to develop the skills, confidence, and discipline to become successful artists and individuals.

Begin ages 2-4
Washington Rock Dance Begin welcomes our youngest students ages 2-4 who seek an opportunity to enjoy the world of dance.
Our Begin program is designed with a traditional dance classroom structure, music, and activities that nurture the children’s interest and natural abilities. In these classes classical dance technique and skills are introduced to lay a foundation for more refined development in the future.
Move
The Move program is designed for all dancers, 5-18 years old, who are looking to take classes in a fun, inspirational, and supportive environment.
We believe movement provides each child the ability to develop confidence and determination. To cater to all dancer's interests we offer classes in a variety of dance genres for everyone to find the way they like to move.
Reach
The Reach program consists of our Competition Performance Ensemble, Ballet Company, and Modern Company. These dancers study dance at a pre-professional level and are on a training track where they take multiple class hours per week.
Enrollment in any of the Reach programs is by teacher evaluation. Accepted students can elect to participate in one, two, or all three programs!
