Jesse Yip is the proud proprietor and director of Step Up Dance Studio (SUDS), located in the heart of Spotswood, New Jersey. SUDS strives to enrich our lives through the art of dance and wellness classes, providing artistic education and accessibility to everyone. At Step Up Dance Studio, we believe that self-confidence, enthusiasm, and desire should be nurtured through positive influences and role models. We offer a wide range of programs for all ages, including technical dance training, curriculum-based courses, theatre instruction, workshops, and fitness classes. We also provide private lessons, wedding and Sweet 16 choreographies, performances for private events, and more! At Step Up Dance Studio, we are passionate about helping our students reach their potential while having fun. Our programs are tailored to help our students develop their skills and build confidence while learning the art of dance. We strive to make our studio a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.

Salsa Footwork
Ever wondered what to do when you partner releases your closed hold? Wonder no more when it is your time to shine. Our footwork / shines class will allow you to add different solo dance segments to your salsa dancing. We cover 2 or 3 different shines each week building upon your social dancing skills.
