About The Dojo Paramus

The Dojo Paramus has been training black belts for over 18 years. We are a family friendly program, specializing in Karate for children. We are a non-contract school and offer plans for attending class once, twice, or up to four times per week. The Dojo Paramus is located one block south of Midland Avenue in Paramus, New Jersey at 407 Sette Drive. This is our 18th year teaching in Paramus! Our main focus is karate for children. We are a family friendly martial arts program that grows in intensity with the age of the children. We also offer adult and teen karate, self defense classes for girls, women and boy and girl scout troops.

Little Ninja Ages 3 ½ - 7
Children go in to class without parents and train the fundamentals of karate while learning focus, discipline, teamwork, control and physical and mental strength.

Samurai - Beginner/Intermediate
The Samurai Program trains to Shodan, adult Black Belt, and on. All students learn at their own pace and every road to Black Belt is unique. This program grows in intensity as the children grow in age.

Brown Belt and higher, Teen/Adult ​Ages 13+
The Teen/Adult class is for mature teens and hard working karate-ka's. This class often has many Black Belts training and the pace can be fast, hard and serious. Please enter class with the proper mindset and focus. Teens, adults and students higher than brown belt are highly encouraged to prioritize these classes.
