Programs
The classes, camps and experiences this business offers.
Swim Starters
Allow your infant or toddler to learn to swim early with Swim Starters. In this program, the child is accompanied by a parent or guardian and learns to be comfortable with water. Our instructors work on swim readiness and confidence-building skills while instructing parents on water safety.
Swim Basics
This program is ideal for older children who are ready to learn basic swim skills and water safety. We'll work through the swim-float-swim sequence and more as we teach students to tread water and swim with confidence.
Summer Camp
East Orange YMCA is proud to offer summer camp programs for children aged 3 to 15. Children are divided into four groups based on age, and from there, we embark on day trips, organize activities, and emphasize building self-esteem. We're accredited by the American Camp Association, and we're committed to providing your child with positive adult role models.
