About Palisades Country Day Camp

Our summer camp exists exclusively for the young child 18 months to 9 years of age. Our aim is to nurture and develop each child’s greatest potential during a stimulating and fun filled summer! We have created a relaxed environment where campers feel comfortable and confident. Our small group size and excellent camper to counselor ratio assure the fostering of each camper’s social, emotional and physical needs. After a summer at Palisades Country Day Camp, campers feel a sense of accomplishment, importance and independence which in turn builds strong self-esteem!

Tiny Tot Program 21-36 Months Old
We call our Tiny-Tots the “Love Bugs,” “Glitter Bugs,” and “Tweedle Bugs.” This program is designed for our youngest campers to experience the fun and structure of summer camp for the very first time! Our well designed “Bug” areas are perfect for our special little campers! Each area has it’s own kiddie pool, sandbox, arts & crafts tables and play equipment, as well as, an air conditioned cabana with bathrooms. Twice a day, campers enjoy our state of the art, heated pools and learn the fundamentals of swimming with our Red Cross Certified instructors.

Mini Campers 3-4 Year-Olds
This program emphasizes the development of meaningful friendships, healthy decision making in a caring environment with physical, social and emotional growth. Every day, each camper will have the opportunity to; experience a wide variety of activities and special events, develop new skills through innovative activities on the stage, in the pool, in art studios and on the field while being fully encouraged to just be a kid! Twice a day, campers enjoy our state of the art, heated pools and learn the fundamentals of swimming with our Red Cross Certified instructors.

Junior Campers 5-6 Year-Olds
Our 5-6 year-old campers participate in a variety of activities designed to increase self-confidence through development and growth. This program helps campers work on their individual skills in an atmosphere of fun, adventure, and camaraderie. Twice a day, campers enjoy our state of the art, heated pools and learn the fundamentals of swimming with our Red Cross Certified instructors. Every day, each camper will have the opportunity to laugh, play, have fun and be a kid during our many special activities including; arts and crafts, ceramics, theatre, music, dance, sports, nature, and legos/robotics. Our junior campers also get to choose among a variety of daily electives that changes every two weeks!!

Senior Campers 7-9 Year-Olds
Our 7-9 year-old campers participate in a variety of activities designed to increase self-confidence through development and growth. This program helps campers work on their individual skills in an atmosphere of fun, adventure, and camaraderie. Twice a day, campers enjoy our state of the art, heated pools and learn the fundamentals of swimming with our Red Cross Certified instructors. Every day, each camper will have the opportunity to laugh, play, have fun and be a kid during our many special activities including; arts and crafts, ceramics, theatre, music, dance, sports, nature, and legos/robotics. Our supercampers also get to choose among a variety of daily electives that changes every two weeks, as well as choose to participate in fun field trips off campus 2-3 times a summer!
