BeAKid
Pre-K/Kindergarten
The Turtles group is an age-appropriate version of our camp program for campers entering preschool and kindergarten. The nurturing style of the Turtles program encourages your child to play, explore, and be creative in a safe and FUN environment. Outdoors all-day, on 60 acres, our Turtles Program is not necessarily designed for every pre-schooler. Liberty Lake Turtles are fully potty-trained, do not take naps regularly, and are kind, fun-loving kids who are described by their parents as “Shot Out of a Cannon!” 🙂

1st & 2nd Grade
Liberty Lake Day Camp’s Freshman Division is for children entering 1st and 2nd grade. These still-young campers get to directly experience the responsibility of making their own choices through the Freedom of Choice elective system. This program offers over 60 diverse elective activities. Freshmen campers participate in THREE elective periods each day, based on the Top 10 list of preferred choices they submit online (with a little bit of help from you). While the kids in our Freshman Division are near the beginning of what we consider their aspirational arc, we still do plenty of hand-holding for this age group. Although we give them some control over the activities they do (based on personal interests), they will receive the nurturing experience they still need from our adult Group Leaders and dedicated Counselors.

3rd – 6th Grade
Liberty Lake Day Camp’s Sophomore Division is for children entering 3rd and 4th grade, while the Junior Division is for kids entering 5th and 6th grade. When campers advance into our ‘Soph Division,’ the activities available to them and the accompanying responsibilities indicate their true entry into our ‘big kids’ program.
