At Sew Crafty, we are passionate about encouraging creativity and inspiring empowerment! Learning how to create something with one’s hands is an incredibly satisfying experience. We have a wide array of materials at our disposal, which can be transformed into something beautiful with the right guidance and techniques. In today’s world, it is more important than ever to have a balance between virtual and tactile activities. That is why we strive to make the experience of learning to sew and quilt both enjoyable and accessible for people of all ages. Our goal is to create a safe, inviting atmosphere where everyone can explore their creative side and use their hands to express themselves!

Sewing After School (SAS)

You can select the day of the week that you wish your child to attend, and they can come on that day every week or every other week. The students can work on whichever of our projects they choose, within their skill level. If they’ve never sewn on a machine before we will teach them how – and they’ll be surprised at how easy it is! We have everything here that the students need to make ALL of the projects we offer – we have machines for their use, fabric, thread, zippers, polyfil – EVERYTHING they need to make stuffed animals, clothing, pillows, crafty items, ALL kinds of purses, tote bags, pouches & wallets. The can make quilts, placemats, aprons, fabric bowls – the list goes on and on!

Summer Camp

Your daughter will be inspired and brimming with confidence this summer as she learns how to make clothing, tote bags, stuffed animals, quilts and more. You’ll be amazed by the quantity and quality of completed projects that she brings home! We cater to all levels of sewing experience, so this camp is great for beginners AND more advanced sewers alike! The minimum age to attend Summer Camp is 9 years old. Please be aware that there is a sweet loving dog, Rosie, who lives with Ms.Toni and is always with her in the studio. She is 10 years old, gentle and laid back, but if your daughter is highly allergic to dogs it would be best for her to not attend camp.

Private Lessons

If you have been given a machine and need to learn how to use it Sew Crafty is the perfect place to come! If you don’t have a machine you can use ours and discover whether you like sewing before you go and invest in your own machine. We will teach you to sew exactly what YOU are interested in sewing, we will customize your lesson(s) to meet your exact needs and we will do our best to meet your schedule of availability. All fabric, thread, trims, patterns, and use of sewing machines are included in the cost of the lesson. Of course, you may also bring materials from home if you already have something in mind.
