About Duke Diving Club

Are you looking for an exciting way to introduce your child to the sport of diving? The Duke Diving Club is the perfect choice! Located on the beautiful campus of Duke University, the Duke Diving Club offers a comprehensive program designed to meet the needs of divers of all skill levels. From beginners who are just getting started to National Champions and Olympians, the Duke Diving Club provides a safe and welcoming environment for learning the fundamentals of diving. Duke Diving Club offers an array of competitions for its divers. Starting with summer league, high school, and AAU meets, our team divers can compete with USA Diving in Regional, Zone, and National meets. We also have divers competing on an international level, including the Olympics! Our program is designed to challenge and encourage our divers in their journey to the next level. If your child is ready to take the plunge into diving, the Duke Diving Club is the perfect place to start. We offer a range of programs tailored to meet the needs of divers of all ages and abilities. With a safe and supportive environment, our coaches are committed to helping your child reach their full potential. We invite you to join us and be part of the Duke Diving Club family!

Duke Diving Lessons

Learn-to-dive lessons are offered 6 different times a week for ages 7-18 Experienced, certified USA Diving Coaches Safe, controlled environment Lessons include 1 hour in the Duke Dryland Facility getting warmed up and training on dry boards, trampoline, and the spring floor 1 hour in the pool working on basic skills on the one-meter and three-meter springboards as well as on the various platforms. Every diver is invited to attend a 1 hour free trial on specific Saturdays from 1:30-2:30.

Private Lessons

Need a little extra attention on one of your skills or just want a little bit focus? Private lessons can help you achieve your diving goal. Private lessons are for 1 hour and can be based in the pool or gym.

Duke Diving Camp

The Duke Diving Camp is open to all levels of divers. We do recommend that campers be 10 years of age or older to participate in the camp. Nunzio Esposto and Health Calhoun run the Duke Diving Camps, Nunzio is the Head Diving Coach of Duke University and Duke Diving Club and Heath Calhoun is the Head Diving Coach at Westminster University and Duke Diving Camps Director.
