In the lively state of North Carolina, known for its dazzling blue ridge mountains, sandy beaches, and bountiful barbecue, a remarkable group of kids are creating a different kind of buzz. These are the Math Whiz Kids of NC, a special tribe of brainiacs who revel in the delights of equations, crunching numbers as easily as a squirrel munching on acorns.

This story takes place in a world where numbers fly around like magic sparks, and every Math Whiz Kid has a special power. They've got "Fraction Frank," who can split anything into equal parts faster than a ninja. Then there's "Decimal Daisy," who can make numbers dance around a point like ballet dancers. And let's not forget "Pi Pete," who can whip out the value of Pi to any decimal place you can think of, even in his sleep!

But the most amazing thing about these kids is their sidekick, "Sir Sum-a-lot," an imaginative character as hilarious as a clown on a rollercoaster. Sir Sum-a-lot is a jolly, plump gentleman with a giant calculator for a belly. He's always ready to lend a comedic hand, solving math problems while cracking jokes that send the kids into fits of laughter. His favorite line when solving a problem? "I'm summing it up guys!"

Math may not sound like the most fun activity in the world, but these kids in North Carolina beg to differ. With their love for numbers and their funny, number-crunching sidekick, they are turning math into the most exciting adventure in the state. Parents, the Mount Pilot Child Enrichment Center was founded in 2007 by Les and Wendi Bennett. Wendi had been a kindergarten teacher at the Millennium Charter Academy in Mt Airy, NC for three years, and it was through this experience that she saw the need for educating young children before attending public school. Knowing that they wanted to ensure that their children would have the knowledge they need, the couple decided to start a daycare center.

At the Mount Pilot Child Enrichment Center, we offer quality daycare services for children aged between six weeks and five years, as well as before and after school care for kindergarteners through fifth graders.
