Once upon a time, in the splendid, lake-speckled state of Michigan, basketball was more than just a sport; it was a way of life. Picture this - a place where the sun sets like a basketball dropping into a hoop, and the lakes shimmer under the moonlight as if reflecting the glow of a championship trophy. Now, let's meet our young heroes - the bouncing, ball-dribbling, backboard-shattering kids of MI. They're not your average kids, oh no! They are mini hoopsters who could dribble a basketball before they could walk. These are the kind that dream in free throws and fast breaks. Leading these kids is none other than Swisharoo McSneaker, an imaginary creature as magical as a triple-double. Swisharoo, an overgrown squirrel with the agility of a point guard and the strength of a center, teaches these kids the art of the bounce and the swish. His fur, a striking shade of basketball-orange, shimmers as he leaps skywards, soaring over the tallest pine trees to slam-dunk acorns into invisible hoops. These youngsters find laughter in blocked shots and humor in the occasional air-ball. They giggle at their fallen shoelaces, imagining them as defeated opponents on the court, and chortle as Swisharoo makes a three-pointer with a wild cherry. Their laughter echoes across the sparkling Michigan lakes, bonding them together in a brotherhood of basketball. In a state where shimmering lakes mirror the spirit of the game and Swisharoo McSneaker dances to the rhythm of bouncing basketballs, the Michigan kids have made the hardwood their playground. This isn't just about the game, it's about camaraderie, resilience, and the joy that comes from dribbling your heart out on a sunny Michigan afternoon.

Nestled in 178 acres of lush woodland is a serene escape from the city, a place fondly known as Camp Swamp. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. We like to think of it as our own "little slice of heaven," offering a respite from the daily hustle and bustle, and inviting people to reconnect with nature and their spirituality. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun. As part of our mission to support families and churches, we now also host three family camps throughout the year, as well as four parent/child retreats. These events offer a chance for families to bond, parents to connect with their children, and individuals to grow in their faith. Moreover, our facilities are not exclusive to our organized events. Camp Swamp also offers rentals to schools, churches, universities, sports teams, and even business groups. Whether you're planning a camp, a retreat, or a team-building excursion, our serene setting and well-equipped facilities provide the ideal backdrop for an unforgettable experience.
