With his magical, illuminated scales, he could transform each reading session into a mesmerizing spectacle. When he’d read, his scales would shimmer and sparkle, creating a magical glow that danced around the room, painting the walls with stories. These Michigan kids, like Squiggles, are no ordinary children. They are daring explorers, navigating through the jungles of Jumanji, aspiring wizards casting spells with Harry Potter, and brave hobbits journeying through Middle Earth, all within the comfy confines of their beloved local library or their secret reading nooks at home. Despite having the ability to breathe fire, Squiggles never, ever used it. Why, you ask? Well, he found it far more exciting to ignite the fire of imagination in the young readers' minds. His hilarious mimicry of characters was so infectious that even the grumpiest of grandpas couldn’t help but chuckle. This overnight Christian camp, located just two hours east of bustling Atlanta, has been serving as a peaceful retreat since 1992. Our primary offering is a week-long summer camp, but we've expanded over the years to include more than just summer fun.
